When you think of a supercar, the Ferrari Testarossa comes to mind. It’s no coincidence: the Testarossa is probably the most iconic model ever produced by the Prancing Horse because it captured an era. 1984, a year of evolution, change, innovation, and a desire to look to the future.
The Ferrari Testarossa takes this momentum and puts it on wheels, thanks to the award-winning Pininfarina Design. The idea was to draw inspiration from the 500 and 250 racing cars, but also to break the mold. The styling is imposing and eye-catching, with side air intakes and a full-width rear end. The retractable headlights have become a timeless icon, as has the single driver’s side mirror. The longitudinal, rear-mounted 180° V12 engine was the most powerful on a production sports car, propelling the Testarossa to a top speed of 290 km/h.
