European Warranty & After-Sale Support

Buying a classic or collector car should be an enjoyable experience from the first viewing to many years of ownership.

At Giro Classico, our service does not end when the car leaves our showroom. Selected vehicles are supplied with an included 12-month commercial warranty valid throughout the European Union, providing an additional level of reassurance whether the car remains in Italy or is exported to another EU country.

For clients seeking longer-term protection, warranty coverage can also be extended, by prior arrangement, to 24 or 36 months.

Confidence Beyond Delivery

A significant part of buying a classic car is knowing that the vehicle has been carefully selected, properly described and professionally supported.

Our European warranty programme has been designed to complement the standards we apply when sourcing and presenting our cars.

Depending on the individual vehicle and the level of coverage selected, protection may include major mechanical, electrical and electronic components, including areas such as:

  • engine and internal components;
  • manual or automatic transmission;
  • drivetrain and differential;
  • braking and steering systems;
  • cooling system;
  • electrical and electronic systems;
  • air conditioning;
  • forced induction systems, where applicable.

Different levels of protection can be arranged according to the age, specification and characteristics of the individual car.

12 Months Included. Extended Cover Available.

Eligible Giro Classico vehicles are offered with 12 months of warranty included.

For owners who would prefer greater long-term reassurance, particularly when purchasing a classic car from abroad, coverage may be extended to:

24 months
or
36 months

by prior arrangement.

This makes the service particularly valuable for international collectors purchasing a classic car in Italy for export within the European Union.

European-Wide Coverage

The warranty is valid throughout the European Union, allowing our clients to enjoy their cars across Europe with the reassurance of continued protection.

Should an eligible mechanical or electrical failure occur outside Italy but within the European Union, the warranty provides a defined procedure for assessment and reimbursement in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.

For international buyers, this represents an important distinction: the relationship with Giro Classico is not intended to end at the Italian border.

Tailored Additional Services

Depending on the vehicle and the requirements of the owner, the warranty package may be complemented by additional services, including:

  • roadside assistance;
  • replacement vehicle options;
  • glass protection;
  • tyre-related coverage;
  • extended warranty periods and enhanced levels of mechanical protection.

This allows us to tailor the level of after-sales support to the particular car and the way in which its new owner intends to use it.

Substantial Mechanical Protection

Depending on the warranty level agreed for the vehicle, coverage limits of up to €7,500 including VAT can be available, with no predetermined limit on the number of eligible interventions during the warranty period, subject to the applicable contractual terms.

For a classic or collector car, where a single mechanical intervention can represent a significant expense, this additional protection can offer meaningful reassurance.

A More Complete Classic Car Buying Experience

Giro Classico specialises in classic, sports and collector cars in Italy, serving both domestic and international enthusiasts.

For us, premium service means more than finding an exceptional automobile. It means providing clear information, careful documentation and practical support throughout the purchase process and beyond.

Our European warranty and after-sales programme has been developed with precisely this philosophy in mind: to make the acquisition of a classic car from Italy as straightforward and reassuring as possible for collectors throughout the European Union.

Because the quality of a classic car dealer should be measured not only by the cars it sells, but by the support it provides after the keys have changed hands.
